The training aims to empower Ukrainian Roma women and feminist activists to stay firm by their voice and engage in self-advocacy for their rights. More specifically, the events will ensure venue for reflections on the obstacles, needs and current challenges that young Roma women face in their communities and in the broader society. Participating women will learn self-advocacy skills as a tool to secure more control over issues that affect their lives and strengthen participation in decision-making on these issues.
The training programme was developed within the ODIHR project, “Capitalizing on the Human Dimension Mandate to Advance Gender Equality” (CHANGE). This activity is part of ODIHR’s “Advancing the Human Dimension of Security in Ukraine” project.
The event is open to selected participants only.
