Insufficient knowledge on the rights to health care and insurance for most of the representatives of the Roma community is often an overwhelming obstacle to deepening social inequality gap, and it directly affects the poor health status of Roma and the general health condition of the entire population in the state. This manual on health insurance rights aims at providing basic directions for navigation in the legal labyrinth of organization and functioning of the health insurance in the state, or more specifically to serve as a support tool in the functioning of Roma Information Centers throughout the country. This publication is not available in English.

Age, Contact, Perceptions: How Schools Shape Relations Between Ethnicities

A study carried out by among 4,000 students from 40 secondary schools countrywide in 2009. This study focuses primarily on the role of schools in shaping perceptions and the development of awareness of other ethnic groups, of positive and negative feelings towards other ethnic groups, as well as on teachers' comments about other ethnic communities and students' views of the causes of tensions among ethnic groups in schools.
