The OSCE Mission to Serbia supported the Institute for Improvement of Education in producing comprehensive Manuals that will help teachers in developing the new concept of civic education, introduced in Serbian schools gradually throughout 2018 and 2019. The Manuals cover four areas of civic education: human rights, democratic society, processes in the contemporary world and civic activism. The aim of these publications is to give teachers a wider insight into the above mentioned areas, to clarify the most important issues and to provide teachers with ideas on how they can implement relevant activities with students. It should also instigate the teachers to explore various further teaching techniques.
