Launch of the 'Basics of Child Safety' Handbook

The OSCE Mission to Serbia, in partnership with the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Education, launched the 'Basics of Child Safety' handbook on 12 February 2018 at the 'Pavle Popović' Primary School in the village of Vranić. The Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Andrea Orizio, spoke at the launch, emphasizing the importance of co-operation and ownership when addressing modern risks to children’s safety. The goal of the publication is to raise awareness among primary school students on various safety issues including traffic safety, bullying at school, drug and alcohol abuse.

Support for the victims of domestic violence

Women who are victims of domestic violence often do not know where to seek for a help. The OSCE Mission to Serbia supports Impuls, an organization based in Tutin, which works on the development of a free and open society, achieving equality between men and women in all spheres of private and public life and on the prevention and countering of all forms of violence and discrimination.
